Two separate patrols | US and Russian forces tour in Al-Malikiyyah countryside (Dayrik)

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported seeing a US patrol of four armoured vehicles, heading to Bannah Berk and Berbit villages in Al-Malikiyyah countryside (Dayrik) with the aim to discuss with the residents the region’s situation.

 

On the other hand, four Russian armoured vehicles headed to Ain Diwar village in Al-Malikiyyah countryside (Dayrik).

 

These developments come as a part of US and Russian routine patrols in the region.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources monitored US forces running a routine military patrol near the area of oil wells in the southern countryside of Al-Malikiyyah (Dayrik) on the Syria-Turkey border.

 

On March 2, SOHR sources monitored a routine US patrol heading to the village of Ain Diwar on the Syria-Turkey border in Al-Malikiyyah countryside (Dayrik). According to Syrian Observatory sources, the patrol’s members met with several residents to discuss about the situation in the area, before the patrol resumed its tour in the border area.
