Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen shot dead a commander of the Turkish-backed faction “Hemat Al-Aqidah” in Jarabulus city in areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

On March 3, SOHR activists reported that two members of the engineering teams sustained various injuries, after the explosion of a car-bomb while the engineering teams were about to examine it after they suspected of the car. The explosion took place in the surrounding areas of Afrin city in the north-western countryside of Aleppo.

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up with a grenade during a raid by the Turkish-backed military police on his house in Afrin canton, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The explosion killed the suicide bomber and injured his family and several members of the military police.

According to local sources, the suicide bomber was an ISIS member. Other sources said that the man was shot dead by the military police, but SOHR did not verify.
