Al-Quneitra Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a leader of the local factions of the Military Intelligence branch was seriously injured, as an IED exploded on Um Batna-Jaba road, which is about 5 km from the occupied Golan, in al-Quneitra countryside in southern Syria.

On March 3, reliable SOHR sources said that fierce clashes with various types of weapons broke out yesterday, in the town of Rasm al-Khawaled in al-Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, between gunmen from “Military Security” of Sa’assa branch and armed fighters of settled-status members from the town of Rasm al-Khawaled in al-Quneitra countryside.

The clashes erupted after the groups of the Sa’assa branch tried to storm the town to arrest four young men, which led to violent clashes that lasted several hours.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the clashes resulted in the death of three members of Sa’assa branch, while at least seven members wounded from both sides, where members of Sa’assa branch failed to storm the town.

After the clashes, regime forces brought in large military reinforcement to the vicinity of the town, amid fears among Rasm al-Khawaled residents of storming the town.

On February 16, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of Al-Quneitra Council, after being shot by unknown gunmen in Al-Baath city in Al-Quneitra countryside.
