Joint patrols | Russian and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani)

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol, this morning, in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo. The patrol which comprised four Russian and four Turkish armoured vehicles toured several villages near the Syria-Turkey border in Ain Al-Arab countryside.

 

On March 1, SOHR sources reported a routine patrol conducted by Russian and Turkish forces in the east of Ain al-Arab (Kobani) in east Aleppo countryside. The patrol was expected to tour several villages and towns in Ain al-Arab countryside on the Syria-Turkey border. This development came as a part of Russian and Turkish forces’ routine movements in the region.
