Bomb attack | Violent explosions hits military school of “Al-Hamza Division” in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported hearing a loud explosion in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Al-Bab city, which is controlled by the factions of “Euphrates Shield” operations room in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. the explosion was caused by the detonation of a high-explosive IED in a vehicle affiliated to “Al-Hamza Division” at the wall of the military school of the faction which is operating under the banner of the Turkish-backed “National Army”, the building of the “cement establishment” formerly, which caused material damage. However, the number of casualties have been still kept secret, while the faction’s members were seen on high alert after the explosion.

 

The explosion comes after an inspection tour by the minister of defence of the “Syrian Interim Government” in the military sectors in Al-Bab area a few hours earlier. It is worth noting that ISIS cells are prevalent in the area which experience ongoing skirmishes between opposition factions and regime forces, and between the factions and Kurdish forces.

 

A few days ago, SOHR activists reported that two members of the engineering teams sustained various injuries, after the explosion of a car-bomb while the engineering teams were about to examine it after they suspected of the car. The explosion took place in the surrounding areas of Afrin city in the north-western countryside of Aleppo.
