For the second day | Regime forces attack rebel positions in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama

SOHR sources have reported rocket attacks by regime forces in the early hours of Wednesday morning, which targeted positions in Al-Haloubah, Al-Faterah, the outskirts of Al-Bara, Sfuhen, Kansafrah, Fulayfel, Bayanin and Al-Ruwayha in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

On the other hand, clashes renewed on Al-Ankawi frontlines in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-west of Hama, between opposition factions and regime forces in a new attempt by regime forces to advance into rebels’ positions. Meanwhile, the factions have managed to foil the regime attack which comes for the second consecutive day following yesterday’s attack also on Al-Ankawi frontlines. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored intensive rocket attacks by regime forces on various areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern countryside of Idlib, mainly concentrated on al-Fatirah, Safohin, Kansafra, al-Ruwaiha, Benin, Flifel and the outskirts of al-Barah. In addition, several rockets hit the surrounding areas of the Turkish post in the town of al-Nayrab in the eastern countryside of Idlib, along with flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the “de-escalation zone”.

 

It is worth noting that the number of rockets and artillery shells fired by regime forces since morning exceeded 225, while the factions of “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room targeted regime positions in Saraqeb and Mardikh, east of Idlib.
