Ain Issa | Regime forces bring in military reinforcement to 93th Brigade, north of Raqqa

Raqqa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored military reinforcement of regime forces arriving at the 93th Brigade in Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, consisting of several buses carrying dozens of soldiers.

This comes after days of exchange of fire and shelling between regime forces on the one hand, and Turkish forces and proxy factions on the other, on frontlines of Ain Issa area.

On March 2, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a rocket attack by Turkish forces and proxy factions on eastern frontlines of Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Raqqa province. Meanwhile, regime forces and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) responded by firing rockets on the positions of Turkish forces and proxy factions in the area. No casualties have been reported.

On February 22, SOHR sources said that a car belonging to the regime forces was burned down, and a regime soldier was injured in rocket fire carried out by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on regime positions near the Silos of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa,
