Old ordnance | Child among four people killed in two separate explosions in Ain Issa and Aleppo countryside

SOHR activists have documented the death of a child and injury of another one due to the explosion of an unexploded artillery shell near Ain Issa town in the north of Al-Raqqah.

 

On the other hand, three civilians were killed in the explosion of an old landmine planted in a dairy farm in the south-west of the regime-controlled town of Maskanah in the east of Aleppo.

 

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 483 people, including 73 women and 152 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.

 

Among the total death toll, there are 112 persons, including 45 women and six children, who were killed during their search and collection of the truffle which grows in the areas that is subjected to heavy rain, and it is sold at very high prices.
