Attack on Turkish vehicle | Explosion injures two soldiers near Idlib city

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of two Turkish soldiers in the explosion which targeted a water tanker of Turkish forces earlier today on the outskirts of Idlib city.

SOHR sources have just said that an IED exploded in a water truck of Turkish forces on the road between the cities of Idlib and Sarmin in the Al-Sina’a area, burning the Turkish water tank completely, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Two days ago, SOHR sources reported an explosion in the city of Idlib, caused by an IED exploded while a military column belonging to the Turkish forces was passing in the Corniche street in the city.

A jihadist organization calling itself “Ansar Abu Bakr al-Siddiq’s Brigade” claimed responsibility for the explosion, saying “A military column of the Turkish NATO Army was targeted on the south-eastern Corniche of Idlib city with an IED, in retaliation for the killing of the child Ahmed Yasser al-Abd near the border in the village of Al-Madloussa in western Salqin countryside.”

Other sources said that the IED was detonated by Turkish forces after it was discovered.
