North of Raqqa | Turkish forces and proxy factions renew ground shelling on the perimeter of the Autonomous Administration’s capital

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, in the early hours of the morning, rocket attacks by Turkish forces and proxy factions, targeting the SDF-held areas near the town of Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Raqqa. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored renewed clashes for the second day in a row on frontline of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, following an infiltration attempt by members of Turkish-backed factions into the positions of SDF in the villages of Sayda and Ma’alaq, north of Ain Issa. The clashes resulted in the destruction of a military vehicle of the factions, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Two days ago, the Syrian Observatory monitored an infiltration attempt by members of Turkish-backed factions into SDF positions in the countryside of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, where clashes took place between both sides near the international road “M4” on the outskirts of the village of Ma’alaq, west of Ain Issa, amid reports of casualties on both sides.
