To commemorate 10th anniversary of the Syrian Revolution | People hold mass demonstrations in Jisr al-Shughour and other areas in Aleppo countryside

Idlib governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a mass demonstration in the city of Jisr al-Shughour, west of Idlib, as part of the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the Syrian Revolution. The demonstrators chanted anti-regime slogans, stressing the continuation of the Syrian Revolution.

In the meantime, a similar demonstration took place in Dara Ezza area in western Aleppo countryside, and in Sheikh Hadid area in Afrin countryside, in the areas controlled by the “Suleiman Shah faction, known as “Al-Amashat.”

On the 10th anniversary of the Syrian Revolution against the Syrian regime to demand freedom, justice and democracy, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored, on March 15, mass demonstrations in various areas in rural Aleppo and Idlib. SOHR activists have monitored a mass demonstration by residents in the centre of “Sabea Bahrat” square in Idlib city, in addition to mass demonstrations in Afrin, Al-Bab and Azaz in the areas held by Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Aleppo countryside.

Displaced people from various Syrian provinces and regions have participated in these demonstrations, chanting anti-regime slogans and confirming the continuation of the Syrian Revolution.

As the Syrian Revolution enters its tenth year, tens of thousands of people are still detained, millions of people have been displaced, and some 594,000 people have been killed in a decade.
