On the third anniversary of Turkish control of Afrin | Turkish-backed factions arrest seven residents from the region

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that Turkish-backed factions arrested in the past hours, six civilians from the village of Jouiqa, which belongs to the city of Afrin in the north-western Aleppo countryside. A few days ago, Ankara-backed factions arrested a resident of Iska village in Shirawa district at one of their checkpoints at the entrance to the town of Afrin from the side of Tranda village on the Basouta road, without knowing the reasons and motives for the arrest to date.

On March 11, SOHR activists from the area of Sheikh al-Hadid in the countryside of Afrin, said that the Turkish-backed Sulaiman Shah Division, known as “Al-Amshat Brigade”, seized several agricultural land, adjacent to each other, belonging to civilians from the region, including displaced people by operation “Olive Branch” and others still present in the area.

According to SOHR sources, a camp for displaced people and a military garage will be built on the seized agricultural land by the “Al-Amshat” Division.
