Nearly 42,000 people participated | 85% of the participants see the Turkish presence in Afrin as “occupation” in a poll taken by SOHR

SOHR has taken a poll on its facebook page about the Syrians’ opinion on the Turkish domination on the Syrian canton of Afrin, and the poll coincided with the third anniversary of the capture of Afrin after a military operation launched by Turkish forces and their proxy factions dubbed “Olive Branch” on March 18, 2018.

 

In only five days, more than 41,200 people participated in the poll, which reads “As the third anniversary of Turkish invasion on Afrin approaches, do you see the presence of Turkish force as occupation?”, while 85% of the participants said “yes”, while 15% said “no”. Moreover, thousands of facebook users have reacted with SOHR poll and left various comments.
