IED attack | Explosion targets Turkish-backed commander in northern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported an IED explosion in a car of a commander of the Turkish-backed faction of “Asefet Al-Shamal” in the western neighbourhood of Azaz city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions near the Syria-Turkey border in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The attack resulted in the injury of the commander and two other companions, as well as causing material damage.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a missile fired from Kurdish-controlled areas in northern Aleppo hit an area near Kilis city inside Turkey. On the other hand, Turkish forces stationed in bases in the northern countryside of Aleppo shelled the frontlines of Mar’naz village in Kurdish-held areas. Meanwhile, two mortars fired from Kurdish-controlled areas hit the surrounding areas of Azaz city in northern Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
