Aleppo | Turkish Jandarma kills young man while attempting to cross into Turkey

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of a young man from Al-Bab area, after being shot by the Turkish border guard forces “Jandarma” while he was attempting to cross into Turkey in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Since early 2021, the Turkish border guard forces “Jandarma” have shot dead eight civilians, including three children, while attempting to cross into the Turkish territory illegally.

 

According to Syrian Observatory statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution, has risen to 468 including 86 children under the age of eighteen and 44 females over the age of eighteen.
