RPG attack | HTS fighters injured at checkpoint in northern Idlib

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported hearing an explosion nearby Idlib city, caused by targeting a checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham with rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), while gunfire was also heard in the area. The attack resulted in the injury of several HTS fighters who were stationed at the checkpoint.

It is worth noting that the targeted checkpoint is responsible for inspecting people travelling in and out Idlib city towards north Syria region and border areas.

As security chaos continued in areas under the control of HTS and rebels in Idlib province, an IED exploded a few days ago in a car in the village of Bakassarya in western countryside of Idlib, killing one person and injuring another.

On March 12, an explosion rocked the town of Al-Foua, north of Idlib city, caused by an IED exploded in a motorcycle belonging to a displaced young man. The explosion injured one person who was passing by and caused material damage.
