Death toll update | Nearly ten people killed and wounded in regime rocket attack on Al-Atareb

SOHR activists have documented a spike in the number of people killed in regime rocket attack on Al-Atareb hospital in the western countryside of Aleppo, as three people, including a child and a medic in the hospital, were killed. The death toll is expected to rise further as the bombardment left at least seven civilians and medics injured, some seriously.

SOHR activists had documented the death of a young man and injury of others due to a rocket bombardment on regime forces, this morning, on Al-Atareb hospital in areas under the control of opposition factions. It is worth noting that the victim was a medic in the targeted hospital.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that regime forces stationed in the 46th Regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo fired several rockets on the outskirts of Al-Atareb city in the same countryside. SOHR sources also reported regime rocket attacks on positions in Fulayfel, Kansafra, the surrounding areas of Al-Bara, Sfuhen and Bayanin in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported two Russian airstrikes on the bushes of Bayanin village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. Moreover, the Russian jets struck Bakfala village in the northern countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur with vacuum missiles, but no casualties were reported.
