Idlib | Long-range missile hits military headquarters near Syria border with Iskenderun region

SOHR sources have reported that a long-range missile hit the surrounding areas of Salwah area in the northern countryside of Idlib, near Syria border with Iskenderun region. It is not known yet if the missile was fired by a warship near the Syrian coastline or from the Russian base in Hmeimim. While, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the rocket attack, as the missile hit a military headquarters of opposition faction. It is worth noting that the targeted area contains a large number of refugee camps which host displaced people from several Syrian provinces.

 

SOHR sources have just reported that several rockets hit Al-Saliheen and Al-Ferdaws neighbourhoods in the eastern part of the regime-controlled city of Aleppo, which killed one person and in injured over 11 others as well as causing material damage. However, the source of this rocket fire remained unknown.

 

A few hours earlier, SOHR activists documented new fatalities due to the massacre committed by regime forces after targeting the hospital of Al-Atareb city with rockets, as the death toll rose to six people, including a child and a medic. The death toll is expected to rise further as the bombardment left several people injured, some seriously.
