SDF’s violations | Residents of village in Deir ez-Zor countryside attack “Self-Defense” posts, and threaten to hold demonstrations

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that Jadid Bakkara residents attacked posts of the “Self-Defense” and disarmed them before expelling them from the village. The residents demanded the release of detainees who were arrested during the security campaign launched by SDF in the village.

The residents demanded open an investigation into the violations against them, and the return of stolen items and belongings during the SDF raids, and threatened to hold anti-SDF demonstrations if their demands were rejected.

According to local sources, SDF members stormed civilians’ homes in an immoral manner, insulted a number of men, broke house furniture and stole gold jewelry from several houses, including the house of village hospital director.
