Aleppo countryside | Turkish forces shell five villages and positions in Kurdish-held areas

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that Turkish bases in the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo, shelled with rockets fire the frontline of the village of Abbla, west of Al-Bab, the surrounding of Tal Rifaat, the village of Tel Jijan, the village of Tel Jamil, and the vicinity of the village of Kafr Naya in the areas held by Kurdish forces in Aleppo countryside, but no casualties have been reported so far. This comes as part of the renewed shelling on these frontlines.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that the Turkish military base in Kaljabrin town in Aleppo countryside shelled with artillery the outskirts of Tel Rifaat, Ain Daqna and Marnaaz in areas held by Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo countryside. No material or human losses were reported so far.

On March 18, SOHR sources reported that a missile fired from Kurdish-controlled areas in northern Aleppo hit an area near Kilis city inside Turkey.

On the other hand, Turkish forces stationed in bases in the northern countryside of Aleppo shelled the frontlines of Mar’naz village in Kurdish-held areas. Meanwhile, two mortars fired from Kurdish-controlled areas hit the surrounding areas of Azaz city in northern Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
