Ceasefire violations | Regime forces renew rocket attacks on Jabal Al-Zawiyah and Sahl Al-Ghab

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces renewed rocket fire on the “de-escalation zone” in the early hours of Wednesday morning, as several rockets hit positions in Sfuhen, Al-Bara, Kansafrah, Fulayfel, Bayanin, Al-Ruwayha in the southern countryside of Idlib, the surrounding areas of Qulaydeen and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama. Meanwhile, the frontlines of Sahl Al-Ghab experienced exchange of heavy machinegun fire between regime forces and opposition factions, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of the regime-backed “National Defence Forces” (NDF), succumbing to his wounds sustained in an attack on his group with a heat-seeker missile which hit frontlines of the village of Basarton in Aleppo countryside. While in Latakia countryside, a regime soldier was killed affected by the injury he sustained in a landmine explosion near the frontlines.

 

On the other hand, regime forces stationed in Sahl Al-Ghab targeted the road between the villages of Hamimat and Al-Hamidia in western Hama with a Cornet rocket, but no casualties were reported.
