With the help of agents | Turkish-backed faction kills seven members of “Tahrir Al-Raqqah Forces” in infiltration operation near Ain Issa

SOHR activists have documented the death of seven members of “Al-Raqqah Military Council” in an infiltration operation by the Turkish-backed faction of “Suleiman Shah”, headed by Mohamed Al-Jasim “Abu Amshah”.

According to SOHR sources, a group of “Suleiman Shah” sneaked at night into Debes village, nearly four kilometres away from Ain Issa town in northern Al-Raqqah, with the help of agents of “Al-Raqqah Military Council”, where the group killed the seven members of “Al-Raqqah Military Council”, dragged their bodies and seized their weapons.

SOHR activists reported earlier this morning renewed rocket fire by Turkish forces and their proxies on Ain Issa area in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The Turkish rockets hit positions in Hawashan village in Ain Issa countryside, but no casualties were reported. The renewed bombardment interrupted the tense calm prevailing the region, after the Turkish military escalation in the past few days. Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a young female affected by the injuries she sustained in earlier Turkish bombardment on Al-Hadariyat village in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa in northern Al-Raqqah.

On March 21, SOHR activists have documented a spike in the number of fatalities among SDF fighters who were killed in Sayda in Ain Issa countryside, as five SDF fighters were killed in bombardment and clashes with Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the village’s frontlines.
