Demanding the release of their sons and husbands | Women of families of members of the Islamic “Party of Liberation” detained in HTS prisons demonstrate in western Aleppo countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a demonstration by women of the families of members of the Islamic “Party of Liberation” in the town of Al-Sahara in the western Aleppo countryside in order to demand the release of their sons and husbands detained in HTS prisons, who were arrested over the past two months for unknown reasons.
On March 16, SOHR sources reported that security forces of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham have stormed a camp in the western countryside of Aleppo, arresting several people, after verbal argument and hand-to-hand fighting between the camp’s residents on one hand, and staff of relief organization and HTS members on the other.
According to SOHR sources, several pickup vehicles with a submachine guns installed over them affiliated to HTS have stormed Hourta refugee camp near Kafr Naseh town, where the security forces arrested several people and beat several women, including a pregnant lady and an old woman.
On the other hand, several women demonstrated in Al-Sahara village in Aleppo countryside, demanding the release of the affiliates of the “Islamic Party of Liberation” held in HTS prisons.
On March 7, SOHR activists monitored several women staging a demonstration in Telaada town in the northern countryside of Idlib, demanding the release of their husbands and sons, who had been arrested by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham for “belonging to the jihadi organization of Hurras Al-Din”. These arrests were a part of HTS security campaign launched throughout Idlib a few days ago, targeting commanders and members of “Hurras al-Din” organization which swore allegiance to “al-Qaida”.
On the other hand, another female demonstration took place in Al-Sahara town in west Aleppo countryside, where women demanded the release of their husbands and sons, affiliates the “Islamic Party of Liberation”, who were arrested by HTS security services a few days ago. It is worth noting that HTS security services attacked a similar demonstration place in Al-Sahara town yesterday.
