Armed attack | Unknown gunmen attack military vehicle of Turkish-backed factions in rural Afrin

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen opened machinegun fire on a military vehicle of Turkish-backed factions in Bolbola area in rural Afrin in north-western Aleppo, injuring two militiamen.

 

On March 22, SOHR sources reported that a leader of the Turkish-backed “Jaysh Al-Sharqiya” opened fire on a young man in the town of Jarabulus in Aleppo countryside, injuring him.

 

According to SOHR sources, the attempted killing came after personal disputes over an amount of cash. Meanwhile, the family of the young man attacked the camp of Al-Qara’an, where the shooter’s family was living, and opened fired indiscriminately near the camp, while the leader was stabbed with a sharp object. A military force of the “Third Corps” intervened to defuse the tension between the two parties.
