To convert it to a detachment | Volunteers with “State Security” evacuate school in Al-Qamishli for “Military Security” branch

Al-Hasakah Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that members volunteering with the branch of “State Security” evacuated its headquarters at the school “Abbas Al-Allawi” in the neighbourhood of Tay in the areas controlled by the Syrian regime in the city of al-Qamishli.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the evacuation came at the request of the head of the branch of “Military Security” brigadier General “Ratib Ghanem”, who intends to turn the school into a “detachment” for the “Military Security” branch.

It is worth noting that “Ghanem” was appointed head of the “Military Security” branch in the regime-held areas in al-Qamishli city in early 2021, succeeding Brigadier General Mohammed al-Janoudi.
