Al-Hasakeh countryside | Turkish forces and proxy factions try to advance on northern frontlines of Tel Tamar, and SDF repels

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a new attack by Turkish-backed factions on frontline of the village of Al-Dardara in the northern countryside of Tel Tamer in Al-Hasakeh countryside.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the SDF was able to repel the attack of Turkish-backed factions, while the frontlines are witnessing exchange of rocket fire between SDF on the one hand, and Turkish forces and proxy factions on the other.

SOHR activists have monitored tense calm prevailing in the frontlines of Tel Tamr countryside in Al-Hasakah province, after intensive shelling and violent clashes in the area in the past few hours, between Syria Democratic Forces and Turkish-backed factions as a part of the factions’ attack on SDF positions, backed by intensive rocket fire. Meanwhile, SDF were seen being put on high alert for fear of a new surprising attack.

Last night, SOHR sources have reported violent clashes following an attack by Turkish-backed factions on positions of regime forces and SDF in Kuzaliyah and Tel Al-Laban villages in the western countryside of Tel Tamr, amid intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces. According to SOHR sources, SDF managed to destroy an armoured Turkish vehicle which was advancing into SOHR positions, amid confirmed information of casualties.
