Tribal clashes | Popular discontent grows in Manbij city controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces” in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources from the city of Manbij, which is located in eastern countryside of Aleppo and controlled by the forces of the Manbij Military Council, say that an armed fight erupted with white weapons and machine guns between members of the two clans in the gold market in the city. The clashes erupted due to a financial dispute between the two parties, which left many injuries and caused material damage.

The incident sparked panic among the residents and popular discontent.

Meanwhile, the Internal Security Forces intervened and imposed a cordon around the area for fear of possible tribal clashes.
