Artillery bombardment | Turkish forces shell villages of Al-Shahbaa area in northern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces stationed in military bases in the northern countryside of Aleppo have shelled, with artillery, the villages of Sha’alah, Zawayan, and Tel Madiq which are under the control of Kurdish forces in the area of Al-Shahbaa in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a Turkish-backed militiaman and injury of two others during an infiltration operation by Kurdish forces in the early hours of Saturday morning on a military post on Kafr Khasher frontline in the south of Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

On March 24, SOHR sources reported renewed clashes in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Kafr Kalbayn frontlines in Azaz countryside in northern Aleppo, between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of bombardment, but no casualties were reported.
