Idlib | Unknown gunmen storm joint operations room between HTS and “National Liberation Front” nearby Al-Nayreb

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have reported that unknown gunmen have stormed joint operations room between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the “National Liberation Front” near frontlines with regime forces nearby Al-Nayreb area in eastern Idlib. The attackers stole the headquarters’ contents, including communication devices, some individual weapons and vehicles, after shackling the members present there, then they escaped.

 

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that violent clashes erupted in the early hours of Sunday morning nearby Qah village in north Idlib countryside, near the Syria border with Iskenderun region, between HTS members and other militants believed to be of ISIS cells. The clashes lasted until dawn, but no casualties were reported.

 

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that a member of an ISIS cell, whose place was raided by the HTS’ security forces, blew himself up with an explosive belt without being able to kill anyone from HTS members. The HTS’ storming forces managed to arrest the rest of the cell members in the town of Atma border with the Iskenderun region, north of Idlib, amid a high alert by the HTS.

 

Hours earlier, reliable sources told SOHR that security services of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham encircled a building where an ISIS cell holed up in Atma town on the Syria border with Iskenderun region, where fierce clashes erupted between the two sides, amid confirmed reports of casualties. Also, a civilian woman and a child sustained various injuries, after being hit with indiscriminate gunshots during the clashes.
