Renewed bombardment | Turkish rocket attacks hit Kurdish positions in northern Aleppo, while Kurdish forces shell positions on Azaz-Afrin road

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported Turkish rocket attacks on positions in the Kurdish-controlled village of Mar’naz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, Kurdish forces targeted a vehicle on the road between Azaz and Afrin with a rocket, which caused material damage. Also, a child was injured after another rocket fired by Kurdish forces hit the area.

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the death of three Ankara-backed fighters, including two members of the Islamic movement of “Ahrar al-Sham”, as a result of clashes with Kurdish forces on the Maranaz frontline in northern Aleppo countryside, following an attack by the factions, backed by Turkish forces. Two regime soldiers were also injured as a shell fell on their post in the conflict zones.

Moreover, exchange of rocket attacks continued between Kurdish forces and factions, south of Azaz town in northern Aleppo countryside, where the factions blocked Azaz-Afrin road due to the exchange of fire.
