Poor service conditions | Nearly ten regime soldiers flee mandatory conscription to SDF-held areas in northern Raqqa countryside

SOHR activists from Ain Issa area in northern countryside of Raqqa, say that about ten regime soldiers fled their positions in the 93th Brigade near Ain Issa towards the SDF-held areas in the region, while reports of their defection from the regime forces are untrue.

According to SOHR, the soldiers were performing mandatory conscription in the regime’s army, and have escaped because of their poor conditions as they do not get enough food by the regime, and many recruits are even working in the area in order to obtain food.
