After IED explosion in the city | “Sultan Murad” and military police exchange fire in Afrin, north-west of Aleppo

Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, in the early hours of the morning, an exchange of fire in the city of Afrin, which is under the control of Turkish forces and the factions of the “Olive Branch” operating room, between the faction of “Sultan Murad Division” and the military police. No information has been reported on the causes and nature of the dispute, the clashes, however, soon ended.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported hearing an explosion in Afrin city which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions, caused by the detonation of an IED in a car in Al-Mahmoudiyah neighbourhood, near Osama Ibn Zayd mosque in Afrin city centre. No casualties were reported.
