IED attacks | Several explosions hit Al-Raqqah, killing female of Asayish Forces and injuring others

Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that an IED exploded in a car belonging to a man working for “Komin” (communes or local committees) in Ghernatah neighbourhood in Al-Tabaqah city, which caused material damage only.

 

Meanwhile, another IED exploded in a military vehicle near the bridge of Al-Karama town in Al-Raqqah countryside, while a funeral was being held in the area. The explosion killed a female of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and injured three others.

 

Moreover, engineering teams has dismantled an IED set to be exploded in Al-Raqqah city.

 

As more fatalities are recorded and updated regularly, the number of people who were killed in areas within the four provinces of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in addition to the SDF-held area of Manbij in the north-east of Aleppo rose to 714 fighters, civilians, oil workers, and officials in service parties.

 

The Syrian Observatory documented the assassination of 252 civilians including 18 children and 13 women by armed cells in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakah countryside, al-Raqqah city and countryside, and Manbij area. In addition, 453 SDF fighters, including local leaders, were assassinated in the same areas.

 

Also, four members of International Coalition were killed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human also documented tens of injuries due to these assassinations.
