Routine patrol | US forces tour areas in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported seeing a US patrol of four vehicles touring in Ain Diwar area in Al-Hasakah countryside, near the Syria-Turkey border, along with the flight of two helicopters over the area. The patrol comes as a part of routine movements by US forces in the region.

 

On March 22, SOHR activists reported seeing a US patrol of four armoured “Bradley” vehicles touring the surrounding areas of Al-Malikiyah city (Dayrik) in the north-eastern Al-Hasakah, near the Syria-Turkey border. The patrol, which was escorted by two helicopters, came as a part of US routine movements in north and north-east Syria regions.

 

While on March 19, SOHR activists reported seeing a US patrol of four armoured vehicles touring Al-Aqwas village in Al-Rumaylan countryside in Al-Hasakah, on the Syria-Turkey border, along with flights by US helicopters over the region. Some US soldiers escorting an officer met with the locals and played with the villages’ children before they left.
