As they failed to participate in anti-ISIS campaign in desert | “National Defense” militia arrests about ten of its affiliated members in al-Mayadeen city

SOHR activists from the city of Al-Mayadeen in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, say that the National Defense militia stormed the homes of a number of its affiliated members in the city, and arrested nine members and were taken to the headquarters of the National Defense in Al-Arbaeen Street in Al-Mayadeen. Their arrest came as they failed to participate in the security campaign launched by regime forces and militias loyal to regime and Russia yesterday in order to comb Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir ez-Zor, in the western Euphrates region.

The security campaign continues for the second day in a row with the participation of regime forces, National Defense and the pro-Russian Palestinian “Al-Quds Brigade”, with the aim of searching for ISIS members in the area who are carrying out ongoing operations.
