Al-Hasakah Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a violent armed fight in the Syrian regime-controlled village of Al-Dallawiya in the southern countryside of al-Qamishli, between two families due to s dispute over agricultural land in the village.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the armed fight left four members of the first family dead, while three people were killed of the other family members, including two women, amid growing tension in the area.

On March 26, reliable sources informed SOHR that members volunteering with the branch of “State Security” evacuated its headquarters at the school “Abbas Al-Allawi” in the neighbourhood of Tay in the areas controlled by the Syrian regime in the city of al-Qamishli.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the evacuation came at the request of the head of the branch of “Military Security” brigadier General “Ratib Ghanem”, who intends to turn the school into a “detachment” for the “Military Security” branch.

It is worth noting that “Ghanem” was appointed head of the “Military Security” branch in the regime-held areas in al-Qamishli city in early 2021, succeeding Brigadier General Mohammed al-Janoudi.
