About 2000 civilians start to come back to Tal Abyad, while a mass grave found in the countryside of Ras al- Ayn (Sari Kanyi)

 

SOHR had been informed that YPG, backed by rebel factions, could seize the village of Ali Bajilah located about 16 km away to the south of the city of Tal Abyad in the north of al- Raqqa City. Local resources informed SOHR that the people of this village have been requested by YPG and the rebel factions’ fighters to go out of the village in order to inspect and comb it, and that the people go back after finishing the inspection and combing, nobody has been harassed. Meanwhile,The clashes between YPG and the rebel factions against IS militants in the north and west of Ayn Isa in the northwestern of al- Raqqa. Meanwhile, 2000 civilians could back to the city of Tal Abyad and its countryside after re-opening the border crossing that links the city of Tal Abyad with Turkey.

 

On the other hand, local sources informed SOHR that YPG has found a mass grave in Tal Khinzir area in the west of the city of Ras al- Ayn (Sari Kanyi). The sources confirmed that 12 bodies of YPG fighters were recovered; the fighters died in clashes with previous clashes with IS.
