Daraa | Members of Air-Force Intelligence checkpoint arrest young woman from Daraa, and locals in Al-Muzayrip demonstrate demanding her release

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that members of the Air-Force Intelligence branch, arrested today a young woman from the town of Al-Muzayrip in Daraa countryside at Mankat al-Hattab checkpoint on the Daraa- Damascus international highway.

According to SOHR sources, regime forces transferred the young woman to regime prisons in Damascus, while negotiations were held between the Central Committee in Daraa and regime forces for her release.

It is worth noting that the arrested young woman hails from Daraa and lives in the town of Al-Muzayrip.

In this context, locals in Al-Muzayrip town in Daraa countryside held a demonstration, demanding the release of the young woman, amid widespread public discontent in the area.
