While trying to enter Turkish territory | Turkish-backed faction leader arrests displaced women in Afrin countryside

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that a leader of the Turkish-backed military police arrested, a few days ago, several displaced women from different Syrian provinces, while they were trying to cross the Syrian-Turkish border and enter Turkish territory in Raju district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo.

According to civil sources, the leader refused to release them despite mediation by the region’s elders. The number of the arrested women is about ten, most of whom are from Homs province.
