Accused of “thefts and killing of civilians” | SDF arrest four people in western Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the four people, arrested by SDF on April 3 in Al-Kassarah town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, were accused of “being involved in thefts and murders against civilians”.

 

On April 3, reliable sources told SOHR that Coalition forces and rapid intervention forces carried out an air drop after midnight, targeting a house in the village of Al-Zar in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, with the aim of arresting a member of the Islamic State cell but he was not home.  The raiding force arrested his brother. The arrested person works as a teacher contracting with the “Self-Administration”

 

Meanwhile, surrounding houses were also raided and two people were arrested. The operation lasted for about an hour and a half, while Coalition aircraft was seen flying over the area.
