After interference of “Central Commission” in Hawaran” | Regime security services release a girl arrested yesterday in rural Daraa

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that regime security services have released a girl from Daraa province, a day after being arrested at Mankat Al-Hatab checkpoint on Daraa-Damascus international highway. According to SOHR sources, regime forces had taken the girl to regime prison in Damascus, while negotiations between the central commission in Daraa and regime forces were on progress until the girl was released today. It is worth noting that the arrested girl hailed from Daraa city and lives in the town of Al-Muzayrip.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that four rockets fired by regime forces hit positions at the entrance of Al-Muzayreb town in the western countryside of Daraa. The regime rocket attack came after local gunmen had been seen on high alert in the town where they established a checkpoint on its entrance following the arrest of a girl from Al-Muzayrib, yesterday, by the regime Air-Force Intelligence at Mankat Al-Hatab checkpoint on Daraa-Damascus international highway.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that members of the Air-Force Intelligence branch, arrested a young woman from Al-Muzayrip town in Daraa countryside at Mankat Al-Hatab checkpoint on Daraa-Damascus international highway.

According to SOHR sources, regime forces transferred the young woman to regime prison in Damascus, while negotiations between the Central Committee in Daraa and regime forces were underway in order to set the girl free.

In this context, locals in Al-Muzayrip town in Daraa countryside staged a demonstration, demanding the release of the young woman, amid widespread public discontent in the area.
