HTS repression | Security services arrest media activists in a camp on Syria border with Iskenderun region

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have reported that a security group of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested a media activist in Al-Anadoul camp in Kafr Lusin area on the Syria border with Iskenderun region in northern Idlib for unknown reasons. It is worth noting that the media activist is from Kafr Nabudah town in the northern countryside of Hama.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that SOHR sources reported that security services of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham have arrested six jihadists, after storming their houses yesterday in Idlib city and areas in Al-Qeniyyah, Al-Hamamah and Ya’qoubiyyah in the countryside of Jisr Al-Shoughur in western Idlib. According to SOHR sources, some of the arrested jihadists are of non-Syrian nationalities, while all the arrested were working for “Hurras al-Din” organization which pledges allegiance to al-Qaida. This development came as a part of efforts by Abu Mohammad al-Julani the leader of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham to promote himself as a “counter of terrorism” in HTS-held areas.
