West of the Euphrates, “the capital of Iran and its militias” | Pro-Iranian militias open Persian language course for local recruits

SOHR sources from the city of Al-Mayadeen, the capital of Iranians and allied militias west of the Euphrates, say that the leadership of these militias organised Persian language course to teach the recruits of pro-Iranian militias of Syrian nationalities.

According to SOHR sources, the language course is conducted online via mobile phones and computers, and will last for about 6 months, in cooperation with the “Iranian Cultural Center” in Deir ez-Zor city. The course is presented by specialists in Persian.

This comes as part of the Iranian expansion into Syrian territory, and Iran’s attempt to transmit its culture to areas under its control.
