Military patrols | Russian forces conduct patrol in al-Malikiya countryside (Derek) near the Syria-Turkey border

Al-Hasakah governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored Russian forces conducting a routine patrol of six armoured vehicles, accompanied by two helicopters, near the Syrian-Turkish border in rural Al-Malikiya (Derek) in north-eastern Syria. The patrol set off from its base in al-Qamishli and then headed to the vicinity of the village of Ain Dewar, Baneh Qasr and Qasr Deeb, and then returned to the village of Trbekayah for camping and staying in the village. The patrol is supposed to return tomorrow to its base in al-Qamishli.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this morning, U.S. forces conducting a routine patrol in the countryside of al-Hasaka. Four armoured vehicles set off from Rubaria airport and headed towards the villages located in al-Malikiya countryside (Derek) near the border with Turkey, while Coalition helicopters were seen flying over the region.
