In two separate incidents | Old ordnance claims the lives of man and child in eastern Aleppo
Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
SOHR activists say that a civilian was killed and a child and another person were injured in a landmine explosion on farms in the city of Maskana in Aleppo countryside, east of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, a child was killed and two others were seriously injured, while tampering with a cluster bomb left over from the war in Maskana countryside in eastern Aleppo.
An increasing number of people killed recently by a landmine, unexploded bombs, and collapse of war-damaged residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and southern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory has documented since January 2019 to date some 504 fatalities, including 77 women and 156 children. Of the total number, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths of 122 people, including 47 women and six children, in their search and collect for “Syrian wild truffles”, which put their lives at risk, “Syrian wild truffles” grow in areas that are exposed to heavy rains and are sold at high prices.
