After coordination between Autonomous Administration and Iraqi government | 500 Iraqi families get ready for leaving Al-Hawl camps in days

SOHR sources have reported that the Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria regions has coordinated with the Iraqi government to evacuate 500 Iraqi families from Al-Hawl camps in Al-Hasakah countryside. These families are expected to leave the camp in batches, where they will be handed over to the Iraqi government in the next few days.

On Tuesday, reliable sources informed SOHR that the Counter-Terrorism units arrested a commander of ISIS cells in Al-Hawl camp on the previous day. The commander was called “Abu Khaled” and hailed from Anbar province in Iraq.

Meanwhile, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested, also on the previous day, six “collaborators” and members of ISIS cells in Al-Hawl camp, including two women working for “al-Hisba” security branch. It is worth noting that these six ISIS affiliates were arrested after Asayish Forces had obtained information from other people arrested earlier the recent security campaign in Al-Hawl camp about the whereabouts of them.
