After an attack on SDF military patrol | SDF seizes ten houses and demands residents hand over the attackers

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have monitored tension in the town of Al-Shuhayl in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, following the seizure of ten houses by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the expulsion of homeowners yesterday, after young men attacked a patrol of the Syrian Democratic Forces near their homes in retaliation for the killing of a civilian from the town.

Meanwhile, unsuccessful negotiations took place between elders of the town and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the house of the commander of the Military Council of Deir ez-Zor in the town of Al-Soor.

Moreover, SDF demanded the extradition of the people who opened fire on the patrol, the closure of the crossing and hand over the weapons, while the residents refused to hand over their sons and weapons and agreed to close the crossing only.
