Forbidding people from eating publicly in Ramadan | Attorney General in Jarablus issues circular, days after “Salvation Government” decision in Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has obtained a copy of a circular issued by the Attorney General in the city of Jarablus, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions north of Aleppo.

The circular stipulates that all measures should be taken to reduce the phenomenon of eating publicly during the holy month of Ramadan, and according to the circular, violators will be brought to justice to take legal sanctions in accordance with due process.

This comes days after the “Salvation Government”, which runs Idlib and related rural areas, issued a decision on the holy month of Ramadan.
