Aleppo | Kurdish forces shoot down Turkish drone in northern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that Kurdish forces deployed in Aleppo countryside shot down a Turkish drone in the village of Bena, north of Aleppo, coinciding with shelling by Turkish artillery on the area.

Meanwhile, the villages of Ain Daqna and Meng, which are held by the Kurdish forces, were subjected to artillery shelling by Turkish forces and proxy factions, but no casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning ongoing intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces on positions in the villages of Baniyah, Oqaybah, and villages in Shirawa district in Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, along with ongoing flight by Turkish reconnaissance drones over the region. No casualties have been reported.
