“Golani’s promotional campaign to fight terrorism” | HTS arrests “Hurass Al-Din” leader of Libyan nationality in western countryside of Aleppo

As part of the HTS leader’ attempt to promote himself internationally by launching a security campaign to fight terrorism in HTS-held areas, SOHR sources say that HTS’ security units arrested a leader of the organization “Hurass Al-Din” named “Abu Ahmed al-Libi” of Libyan nationality, after raiding his house in the village of Al-Sahara in the western Aleppo countryside.

On April 6, SOHR sources reported that HTS security services arrested several jihadists, including a sharia judge, in the past few hours, bringing the number of jihadists arrested from yesterday to nearly 11. This development comes as a part of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham’s security campaign against jihadists.

On April 5, SOHR sources reported that security services of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested six jihadists, after storming their houses on the previous day in Idlib city and areas in Al-Qeniyyah, Al-Hamamah and Ya’qoubiyyah in the countryside of Jisr Al-Shoughur in western Idlib. According to SOHR sources, some of the arrested jihadists were of non-Syrian nationalities, while all the arrested are working for “Hurras al-Din” organization which pledges allegiance to al-Qaida.
